I have been playing violin for nearly four decades. I play in an acoustic trio (voice, piano, violin), as a soloist, and in small ensemble groups throughout New England. I regularly accompany the choir for Masses at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in North Kingstown, RI.
My teaching style centers around positivity. Making music should bring a person joy, whether the musician is five or 75. Mastering an instrument takes years of study and hard work, but the process of learning can be fun and fulfilling along the way. I strive to give my students a strong foundation in body mechanics and technique, sight reading, and ear training. Above all, I do my best to help them become the kind of musician they want to be.
